If you want to keep your A/C running well and keep your energy costs down, the best thing you can do is to change or clean your A/C filters regularly – preferably monthly. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of A/C filters, so be sure to change them on a regular basis.
Don’t be that person that constantly puts off doing it, because the day will come when the coils get so dirty that your unit freezes up and then you have a much more expensive and hot problem on your hands. It’s no fun being hot and sweaty during a South Florida summer and waiting for a very busy A/C technician to schedule you in.
If you’re not sure how to change or clean your A/C filter take a few moments to watch this short video.
Happy Renting!
